What was consumed:
Chocolate and salted caramel milkshakes, cheese fries, Bacon Bacon and the King burgers.

The damage:
$48 + a stack of calories

The breakdown:
The shakes were good – strong nutella flavour for the chocolate and distinct caramel flavour in the salted caramel, both not overly sweet.
The fries were good, but rendered salty and soggy by the thick blanket of cheddar cheese. In the end, the cheese was way too heavy and overpowering.

Bacon Bacon – Two beef patties, double bacon, cheese, pickles, caramelised onion, mustard and tomato sauce – actually quite a tasty burger. As expected, all the ingredients worked well together, helped by the use of quality bacon and beef.

The King – beef patty, tomato, lettuce, mac & cheese croquette, mustard and special burger sauce. The addition of mac & cheese croquette really didn’t do anything for me. Taste-wise, it was pretty much like another cheese element.

The verdict:
Would I come back? Yes, but probably for the good, old-fashioned single stack with plain fries. In this case, simple is best.
